Kids Love 2017
Our third annual Kids Love Valentine’s Day outreach to homeless children was a huge success!
Every year we pack cute red bags with art supplies, candy and handmade valentines for the grade school aged children in temporary shelter at Mary’s Place, numbering 250 in 2014, 350 in 2015 and this year we made 480 bags. The valentines were beautiful, and the kids loved the bags!
Thank you to all the individuals, families, churches, schools, and seniors for a beautiful assortment of loving and creative cards. Here are some of this year’s Kids Love valentines made into a slideshow.
This year our Elder Love ministry helped local seniors make valentines for the kids.
Director Marianne McDonough and her husband Tom enjoyed delivering Kids Love bags on a sunny Feb 14.
